Man is so smart
that he has managed to create a society where the Creator of
all things, including man himself, is not even mentioned.
In his smartness he is actually cutting off the branch where he
is sitting. He claims everything to originate from a big bang,
but he goes on proving it in the name of orderly, logical thinking.
He should stick to his original method and anticipate even greater
bangs and higher civilizations as a result of them.
Man has been blinded and imprisoned by his abilities.
Reason without God takes man deeper into his misery and
ultimately will lead him to hell, where no big bang will be able
to deliver him.
Our maximum amount of freedom can be experienced only
through our dependency on our Creator.
Augustine said, "The person who evaluates things according
to reason, has far more freedom of choice than the one who is
driven by want or drawn by passion."
Faith is the highest expression of reason and therefore
the only way for man to enjoy his freedom.

Blind Expectations
lead sometimes to devastating surprises.
A communication specialist said in an interview lately,
"Artificial Intelligence will help us to understand
one another." Sure.
Everything would work so well, if man didn't have
his own fallen nature . Communism, Socialism, Humanism,
Democracy, Religions, all these inventions of the smart but
blinded man, would help us to save ourselves.
They all fail.
At the end of all his endeavors man will look into the
mirror and be still still asking the taunting question,
"Who is it?"

"That's not who we are", hmm
There are so many interpretations of what true,
real Christianity is.
The same is true about all religions, nationalities,
ideologies and philosophies.
People are not what they think they are.
They are not what they should be and they continually
fail to be what they would like to be.
To govern this kind of mankind is an impossible
task for an honest politician,
but it's a great market for the accuser,
the slanderer and
the Father of all lies.
It's grace that we haven't totally
eaten up one another, yet.

Too often
relationships become a game of looking for a good deal.
When friendships are turned into a business and
a strategy they loose their glory.
Romans 12:10 encourages us to compete in honoring
one another. This is a Christian choice, not looking for
a good deal, but initiating honor.
Honoring someone means to show value in them.
This was special with Jesus.
He honored women and children.
He recognized the poor, the sick and the uneducated,
people who were unable to promote others.
Honor is an expression of divine dignity.

Happiness is not a sin.
But if someone has condemnation in his heart,
he becomes very judgmental and will make sure
that everybody else around them will become
as miserable as they are.
Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you",
and cared more for the poor than anyone else.
Thank God for the good moments of laughter
and luxury. They are in God's plan,
designed to refresh us in the midst of all the
demonic warfare that's going on in the world.
He doesn't want us to worry about tomorrow.
He wants to teach us
to laugh at the days to come.
